Safety travel with children in South Africa
"Welcome Babba!"
Eine quite new kind of way to travel: Astrid Mohn and Grard Rudschuck were with their infant in South Africa. And are inspired by the child friendliness in the country. Still shortly before the take-off we have fear of our own courage. But it has quickly faded. Relieved we note that our six-month-old baby is not the only one. Even newborn children already sit with our son Lon in the first row. And he seems to feel fineoch kurz vor dem Abflug haben wir Angst vor unserer eigenen Courage.
Carinthia or Cape Town? Paediatricians, psychologists and parents agree. Our bundles of joy are not difficult to please what concerns their location. Near a lot of affection and suitable for children surroundings the little one, first of all, need relaxing, very happy parents. There is only a little that speaks against discovering the dream destination south Africa together as a family. " Welcome babba! " Babba is an Afrikaans word and means baby. Our local resident friends from Durbanville welcome us at the airport of Cape Town. The next day begins with an excursion. The cable-car trip up to the Tafelberg can inspire our grafting only a little. Rather these are the deasies which bring our small one in order to screech with their climbing arts.
At noon we saunter throuhg the delightful botanic garden in Kistenbosch. Lon discovers the special colours, smells and sounds of South Africa. He sniffs curiously in the flowers, listens to the gargling of the brooks and the singing of the birds. With violent gesticulating the babbas are greeted by him on the baby meadow while they are taking a picnic there with their parents, brothers, sisters and friends....
